Experimental investigation on bubble behaviors in a water pool using the venturi scrubbing nozzle

چکیده

The containment filtered venting system (CFVS) filters the atmosphere of building and discharges a part it to outside environment prevent overpressure during severe accidents. Korean CFVS has tank that fission products from by pool scrubbing, which is primary decontamination process; however, prediction its performance been done based on researches conducted under mild conditions than those Bubble behavior in key parameter scrubbing. Therefore, bubble was analyzed various injection flow rates observed at venturi nozzles used using wire-mesh sensor. Based experimental results, void fraction model modified existing correlation, new size developed. agreed well with obtained data. However, newly developed showed different results established previous studies because nozzle diameter considered this study larger studies. first reflects actual design scrubbing nozzle.
